Unlimited building capabilities.

Building Contractor

Division I (Unlimited building capabilities)

Building capabilities of commercial or residential up to 3 stories, and unlimited attached residential buildings.

Residential Contractor

Division I (Unlimited building capabilities)

Building capabilities up to 2 stories, residential only, up to a tri-plex.

Air Conditioning Contractor

Division II

  • Mechanical A/C – qualified to work on medical gas, fuel gas, and A/C units over 25 tons cooling.
  • A/C – (A) Contractor – qualified to work on units over 25 tons cooling, and over 500,000 BTU heating.
  • A/C- (B) Contractor – qualified to work on units up to 25 tons cooling, and up to 500,000 BTU heating.

Roofing Contractor

Division II

Becoming a licensed Roofing Contractor in the state of Florida requires passing a two part licensing exam. Part 1: Trade Knowledge and Part 2: Business and Finance. Gold Coast’s classroom based exam prep program is structured to help you pass both parts.

Plumbing Contractor

Division II

Becoming a licensed Plumbing Contractor in the state of Florida requires passing a two part licensing exam. Part 1: Trade Knowledge and Part 2: Business and Finance. Gold Coast’s classroom based exam prep program is structured to help you pass both parts.

Your Glass and Glazing program will consists of a combination of home study and classroom exam prep sessions designed to fully prepare you to pass your exam and get your license.

Building Inspector

The Florida Building Code Administrators and Inspectors Board require Municipal Building Inspectors to become licensed by passing an intensive 2-day exam.

Home Inspector

Any individual that is looking to obtain a Florida Home Inspector license is required to complete and pass a 120 hour DBPR approved pre-licensing course.

Plan Reading

Held over two consecutive days, this workshop advances the skills of both novice and veteran contractors in reading and estimating an architectural set of plans.
