Sasha Valdés, una de nuestras egresadas de Gold Coast School, fue recientemente reconocida como finalista al premio RISMedia Rookie of the Year. Pasos para iniciar en bienes raíces en Florida

Para ser un agente inmobiliario en Florida es necesario ser mayor de edad, contar con un número válido de Seguridad Social y tener un diploma de high school o GED. Aunque no es requisito ser ciudadano norteamericano, los no ciudadanos deben tener visa de residencia y un número de seguridad social.

Los siguientes son los pasos para obtener su licencia como agente inmobiliario en Florida:

Paso 1. Completar los cursos de pre-licencia

El Departamento Regulatorio de Negocios y Profesiones de Florida (Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation o DBPR) exige un curso de 63 horas tomado con una escuela estatal aprobada por el estado. Seleccione una escuela reconocida que le ofrezca formatos flexibles, tales como enseñanza en línea, transmisiones en vivo o clases presenciales. Algunas escuelas ofrecen cursos tanto en inglés como en español.

Paso 2. Aprobar una revisión de antecedentes

Debe completarse una revisión de antecedentes por medio de un estudio dactilar en LiveScam o en la oficina del DBPR en Tallahasse. Para ello debe presentar dos identificaciones a su elección. También hay servicios dactilares disponibles en las escuelas de Gold Coast por $83.

Paso 3. Presentar la solicitud de licencia

Una vez se hayan procesado sus huelas dactilares, hay que crear una cuenta en el DBPR para presentar la solicitud de vendedor asociado de bienes raíces. Use su nombre legal, el número de seguridad social y la información de antecedentes. El precio de la solicitud es de $39.37 pero los militares y sus parejas tienen el derecho de hacerlo gratis.

Paso 4. Aprobar el examen de licencia

Agende su examen con Pearson Vue o llamando al 1-888-204-6230. El costo del examen es de $36.75, dura 3 horas y media y se requiere un puntaje de 75/100 para aprobar. Lleve al centro de pruebas dos identificaciones personales válidas, su Aviso de Notificación y el Certificado de Pre-licencia. También es posible tomarlo en línea y a distancia.

Paso 5. Contacte un corredor licenciado de Florida

Una vez aprobado el examen debe trabajar con un corredor licenciado. Muchos agentes nuevos contactan corredores durante las ferias profesionales organizadas por las escuelas de bienes raíces.
