Are you a self-motivated and experienced Personal Lines Insurance Agent who wants to join the fastest-growing independent Property and Casualty Insurance agency?

Brightway, The Wilson Agency is seeking to add Insurance Agent who will be responsible for securing and closing new insurance policies. The ideal candidate for this position has a proven track record with selling personal insurance lines, is proactive and detailed oriented with their work, has an established local network, has a Florida 2-20 or 20-44 license, and fully understands and can complete the steps required to quote, bind, and issue a new policy.

Job Details
– Sells Auto, Home, and Commercial Insurance to individuals using consultative sales techniques
– Achieves sales goals for volume of quality new business quoted and written within company guideline
– Prospects new clients via in-person events, telephone sales, lead generation, referrals, and through professional business partner referral sources
– Regularly attends local networking and leads events, which may be before, during, or after business hours
– Builds, develops, and maintains client relationships within local communities
– Establishes and maintains relationships with new business referral partners
– Follows the established process and uses the assigned systems to convert new leads into customers
– Counsels and advises prospects and policyholders on matters of insurance coverage that is tailored to their specific situational
– Connects with all customers in a way that makes them feel welcome and confident throughout the process
– Understands complex coverage details and underwriting guidelines for Florida policies
– Self manages to achieve all deadlines with great attention to detail
– Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
– A valid Florida 2-20 or Florida 20-44 insurance license
– The ability to maintain a current state insurance license in property and casualty
– Experience in high paced sales (preferred)
– Ability to work at the Safety Harbor office location with a flexible schedule
– Ability to work before and after standard business hours to attend networking events and respond to clients when needed
– Highly effective communication skills – oral and written
– Full-Time Position, W-2 position
