GROUP/EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Insurance Agent located in Tamarac, FL looking for someone to assist the Director of Employee Benefits with servicing and renewing existing EMPLOYEE BENEFITS accounts. Individual would be answering calls regarding billing, eligibility and claim questions from employees and employers. Individual would also need to be comfortable doing Open Enrollment Meetings to explain group benefits to employees. It would be a plus if individual spoke Spanish as we have some clients down in the Miami-Dade area that have Spanish speaking employees. On occasion individual might need to do attend an early morning meeting (6:30 am or 7am) or even a late afternoon meeting around 5pm but these times are rare. Normal regular business hours will be 8:30 am to 5pm. The individual we hire must be licensed in Health/Life (2-18, 2-40) and be proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point. Publisher would be a plus. The individual we hire would be responsible for generating quotes and preparing presentations in excel/word for producers to give to client. This is more of an administrative vs. sales position.
