Working as a Loan Officer for us you should be proficient in the following:
Understands the loan submission process.
Service level expectations and multitasking.
Maintains the highest level of customer service and creates a positive working relationship with your team and clients.
Communicates and works diligently with operations staff in order to ensure a smooth and accurate loan process.
Assisting clients through the loan process from application to closing.
Current on FHA / VA / Conventional / Jumbo loans.
Understands all compliance requirements having to do with FHLMC, FNMA, FHA, and VA guidelines.
Have an active Loan Officer license with NMLS in the state of Florida.
Some Responsibilities include:
Conducting meetings with loan applicants to collect information for loan applications while recognizing their needs.
Interview applicants to define financial eligibility and focus on their ability to repay the loan, their willingness to repay the loan and their current existing assets and liabilities.
Request credit reports and compile the necessary information for loan approval or denial.
Prepare elaborate loan proposals.
Analyze active loan files regularly and recommend solutions to speed up the loan process.
Suitably explain denials and counter-offers.
Prepare consumer loan applications for underwriting.
Ensure additional documentation/information is obtained when required by the underwriter to complete the loan package.
Verify quality and accuracy of loan documents.
Performs other related duties as assigned
