The AINS® designation provides candidates with a comprehensive knowledge of insurance principles, practices, policies, and coverage.
The program is recommended for both licensed and non-licensed property-casualty insurance professionals, managers or supervisors, customer service representative, underwriters, risk managers, and administrative and support staff. AINS 21, 22, 23 may be taken in any order
AINS 21 – Property and Liability Insurance Principles:
This course will provide participants with the basic understanding of insurance principles and practices. AINS 21 is divided into 3 segment topics. Each of the three segments will be broken down into small manageable topics allowing enrollees to obtain a clear and solid understanding of the material. Subtopics of the segments include: understanding insurance, insurers and how they are regulated, insurer financial performance, marketing, underwriting and ratemaking, claims, risk management, loss exposures, and insurance policies.
Upon completion of AINS 21, participants should have learned the fundamentals necessary to effectively apply risk management insurance principles to their everyday work environment. An examination on AINS 21 is administered by The Institutes®. A property and casualty insurance license is not required for this course. Exam fees are not included in the tuition of this course.
AINS 22 – Personal Insurance:
This course explains how to effectively apply personal insurance concepts. Like other AINS® courses, this program is divided into 3 segments. Each segment subdivided into smaller topics which provides for an easier understanding of the fundamentals necessary to pass the AINS 22 examination. Topics covered in this course will include: personal insurance overview, homeowners and residential insurance, personal property and liability insurance, and life, health, and retirement planning.
Upon completion of AINS 22, participants should have a solid foundation in the application of personal insurance fundamentals. This knowledge will develop your ability to handle complex client needs by utilizing technical skills of personal automobile and residential contracts. An examination on AINS 22 is administered by The Institutes®. A property and casualty insurance license is not required for this course. Exam fees are not included in the tuition of this course.
AINS 23 – Commercial Insurance:
Understanding commercial insurance policies and coverages summarize the topics covered in this module. Each of the 3 segments included topics on different areas of commercial products included property, inland marine, general liability, commercial auto insurance, workers compensation. Business owners, farm insurance, and specialty coverages.
Upon completion of AINS 23, participants should be able to effectively apply commercial insurance concepts to their everyday work. An examination on AINS 23 is administered by The Institutes®. A property and casualty insurance license is not required for this course. Exam fees are not included in the tuition of this course.
