The purpose of each Module class is to prepare you for content that will be covered on the Business and Finance exam. The Instructor will guide you through the content for each Module\, reviewing important concepts and reference book sections that have traditionally been on previous exams. Weeknight Module classes are hosted Monday – Thursday from 6:30pm to 9:00pm (on-campus and Zoom options) and Friday (Zoom-Only) from 4:00pm to 6:30pm (note the early start time on Fridays). \n  \nPLEASE NOTE: You DO NOT need to attend the Module classes in numerical order. The Plumbing Trade exam requires you to create 5 isometric drawings which will be scored for accuracy. \n  \nHere is the link to the Plumbing Contractor Candidate Handbook: http://www.myfloridalicense.com/dbpr/servop/testing/documents/const_p_cib.pdf \n  \nExamination at a Glance: \nThe Plumbing General Trade Knowledge examination has a total of 160 possible points. The\nexaminations consist of 110 questions and 5 (five) Isometric drawings. Each of the isometric drawings\nis worth up to a maximum of 10 points. To pass the examination a candidate must have a score of 112\nout of 160 possible points. \nThe multiple-choice portion of the Plumbing General Trade Knowledge examination consists of\nquestions relating to general trade knowledge. The content areas to be covered and the approximate\nweights assigned to each are as follows: \n1. 20% Drainage\n2. 20% Water Distribution\n3. 15% Natural Gas Piping\n4. 20% Medical Gas Piping\n5. 10% Industrial Piping\n6. 5% Swimming Pools\, Wells and Irrigation\n7. 5% Solar\n8. 5% Fire Protection \nThe Isometric Drawing portion of the Plumbing General Trade Knowledge examination consists of\nfive plumbing isometric drawings. The content of the drawings shall conform to the content areas\nlisted above in content areas 1 through 8. The following are the criteria and points used by the graders\nto evaluate each of the five isometric drawings: \na) Legibility. Drawing is clear and readable. Drawing is sufficient in size. Lines and labels are\ndistinguishable. (8 points)\nb) Orientation. All fixtures are shown in the correct location relative to each other. (20 points)\nc) Flow. Direction of flow is shown when going from vertical to horizontal. The direction of flow\nmust be indicated even if the direction is implied for all waste lines and all fixture connections.\nDirection of flow is not required for vent lines. (12 points)\nd) Angles. Isometric drawing uses 30-60-90 degree angles. All angles used on the drawing are\ndisplayed at the appropriate orientation. (8 points)\ne) Piping. All pipes\, fittings\, traps\, clean-outs\, and similar portions of the piping structure are\nincluded on the drawing. All piping is shown exactly as on the drawing (regardless of specific\ncode requirements). The piping must display the correct elevation in reference to the floor plan.\n(20 points)\nf) Labeling. All fixtures are labeled according to the legend provided in the examination\ninstructions. (4 points)\ng) Vents. All vents are properly indicated. (16 points)\nh) Fixtures. All fixtures shown on the floor plan are appropriately indicated on the isometric\ndrawing.
