DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Part I of the Building Inspector / Plans Examiner Exam Prep Program: Principles and Practices Exam Training. These classes will be held Thursday and Friday at our Lantana campus location and via Zoom. Bring all Reference Books and Workbooks to these classes to prepare for the Principles and Practices exam. \n  \nExamination Information: \n  \nApplicants seeking licensure by examination must take and pass a technical examination administered by the International Code Council that is related to their category of licensure\, as well as the Florida Principle and Practice examination. Information regarding technical examinations can be found on the International Code Council website. \n  \nDBPR offers the Florida Principle and Practice examination in a computer-based testing (CBT) format. Candidates who have been approved to sit for an examination may do so by contacting the department’s examination vendor\, Pearson VUE. Examinations are available on a daily basis at testing sites throughout the world.
