SUMMARY:Building Inspector / Plans Examiner Class Part II: ICC Technical Training - Lantana and Zoom
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Part II of the Building Inspector / Plans Examiner Exam Prep Program: ICC Technical Training. These classes will be held Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 4:00pm at our Lantana campus location and via Zoom. Bring all Reference Book materials to these classes to prepare for the Building Inspector and Plans Examiner exams. \n  \nExamination Information: \n  \nApplicants seeking licensure by examination must take and pass a technical examination administered by the International Code Council that is related to their category of licensure\, as well as the Florida Principle and Practice examination. Information regarding technical examinations can be found on the International Code Council website. \n  \nDBPR offers the Florida Principle and Practice examination in a computer-based testing (CBT) format. Candidates who have been approved to sit for an examination may do so by contacting the department’s examination vendor\, Pearson VUE. Examinations are available on a daily basis at testing sites throughout the world. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Gold Coast School of Construction Student Orientation hosted every Monday from 5:00pm to 6:30pm via Zoom-Only. \n  \nThis is an extremely important session for newer students\, though any active student is welcome to attend. In this session\, we review how to register with the state to obtain your Candidate ID number\, how to schedule your exam with Pearson Vue\, and how to access the applications when you are ready to apply for your license. \n  \nWe also review the Candidate Handbook for all Division I and Division II license categories.
