False Alarm Prevention (2 hours)
This two-hour online False Alarm Prevention course is designed to help practicing Electrical, Alarm, and Fire Alarm professionals in the prevention and reduction of false alarm occurrences.
At the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Identify and describe the key reasons for false alarms.
- Identify and describe several methods of proven false alarm prevention and reduction.
- Integrate false alarm prevention and reduction strategies into your customer service practices.
This course has been approved by the ECLB for 2 hours of False Alarm Prevention (FAP) Continuing Education credit for Electrical Contractors who are engaged in the alarm system contracting industry.

Course Completion and Reporting: Upon successfully completing this course you will be able to print the hard copy completion certificate for your records. For state-certified licensees, Gold Coast will electronically report your completed CE hours to the DBPR and the appropriate boards for you.
Course Expiry: This online course expires two years from the date of purchase. However, your completion certificates will remain indefinitely.
