Patria’s insurance career started in New Rochelle, NY as a manager for a small insurance agency while also teaching English as a second language.  She then moved to Florida where she obtained her 2-15 and began working as a field agent, field agent recruiter and sales agent for both large and small corporations. She also volunteered with South Florida Workforce One-Stop Career Center and the Public Library, educating Spanish speaking adults on basic credit-building and helping English speaking adults improve their reading and writing skills.  Her passion for both the insurance industry, as well as teaching, drove her to combine both. When she is not working in the field, she enjoys spending quality time with her son and daughter. She enjoys going on weekend road trips, as well as browsing and exploring the internet.
