Florida General Contractor Continuing Education Requirements

The CILB requires 14 hours of board-approved Florida contractor continuing education each biennium prior to the renewal deadline for both certified and registered contractors. The 2-year renewal cycle ends on August 31st of EVEN numbered years. This 14-hour package meets the CILB’s mandatory 6 hours and provides an addition 8 hours of general credit.

BCAIB- Florida Inspectors, Examiners, and Reviewers Continuing Education Requirements

In the state of Florida, Inspectors, Plan Reviewers and Building Officials must complete 14 hours of continuing education once every two years by November 30th of ODD numbered years (ex. 2021, 2023, etc).
