Division I (Structural Building Contractor)
Unlimited building capabilities.

Building Contractor


Division I (Structural Building Contractor)

Building capabilities of commercial or residential up to 3 stories, and unlimited attached residential buildings.

Residential Contractor


Division I (Structural Building Contractor)

Building capabilities up to 2 stories, residential only, up to a tri-plex.

Demolition Contractor


Division I (Structural Building Contractor)

Demolition of any structure less than 50 feet in height, or residential buildings of 3 story or less.

Industrial Facilities Contractor


Division I (Structural Building Contractor)

Contract work for industrial structures, equipment foundations and structures, any inhabitable or limited habitable structure within the industrial facility.

Tower Specialty Contractor


Division I (Structural Building Contractor)

Contract work for construction, repair, or alteration of towers used for communication, energy, water, or utilities.

Air Conditioning Contractor


Division II (Subcontractor)

  • Mechanical A/C – qualified to work on medical gas, fuel gas, and A/C units over 25 tons cooling.
  • A/C – (A) Contractor – qualified to work on units over 25 tons cooling, and over 500,000 BTU heating.
  • A/C- (B) Contractor – qualified to work on units up to 25 tons cooling, and up to 500,000 BTU heating.

Roofing Contractor


Division II (Subcontractor)

Becoming a licensed Roofing Contractor in the state of Florida requires passing a two part licensing exam. Part 1: Trade Knowledge and Part 2: Business and Finance. Gold Coast’s classroom based exam prep program is structured to help you pass both parts.

Building Inspector


The Florida Building Code Administrators and Inspectors Board require Municipal Building Inspectors to become licensed by passing an intensive 2-day exam.

Home Inspector


Any individual that is looking to obtain a Florida Home Inspector license is required to complete and pass a 120 hour DBPR approved pre-licensing course.

Plan Reading
