As a Licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the development and acquisition of new customers. You will be counted on for strategic development and growth of your existing customer relationships with a focus on retaining and selling new and featured products to ensure continued growth. This will involve promoting and marketing company products, supported by an approved marketing strategy.

We at GNP Insurance Brokerage are seeking energetic and self-driven individuals with a winning spirit to join our fast-paced P&C Insurance sales department and build a book of business in our South Florida office. As a sales representative you will work with a dynamic team that shares your desire to be the best. With our insurance companies’ extensive customer care work, a successful sales structure and our amazing products and services, you will be set up for success. Preferably looking for someone in the Tri-county area, but willing to speak with people in the Orlando and Tampa areas as well.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads, referrals, and networking.
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
  • Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote products, services, and/or referral programs.
  • Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and personal goals.
  • Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs.


Requirements:

  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and be coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Must be awesome at opening doors, getting appointments, and creating relationships from a cold start.
  • Be a fantastic presenter.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individuals.
  • Prior Sales Experience.
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
  • Career-minded vision.
  • 2-20 License
