In the state of Florida, all Registered and Certified Electrical Contractors are required to complete 11 hours of board approved continuing education (16 hours for Dade Country contractors) every 2 years prior to the renewal period. The 2 year renewal cycle ends August 31st of EVEN numbered years (ex: 2024, 2026, etc).
