We are seeking a Sales/Retention Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for providing service to clients’ changing insurance needs by selling and servicing various policy types such as auto insurance, home owners insurance and commercial insurance
• Provide service to clients’ changing insurance needs by selling and servicing various policy types such as auto insurance, home owners insurance and commercial insurance
• Help the long-term success of the agency by following the agency’s guidelines and operational processes
• Prospects for potential clients by utilizing servicing conversations, as well as agency marketing campaigns such as mailings, emails, telemarketing, referrals, making presentations to groups, and other marketing campaigns
• Determines clients’ particular needs by quoting and explaining coverage options that meet their immediate and long term goals.
• Obtains underwriting approval by completing application for coverage and following up on any additional requests
• Provides continuing service to customers by thoroughly completing service request, customer policy reviews, and courtesy follow-up calls
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances insurance agency reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Must have a good personality and work well with others
• A basic property and casualty product knowledge
