Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, or GED. Six months of experience in construction, tax assessment, property appraisal, or real estate sales is required. The completion of 30 credits of college coursework may substitute for the required work experience. Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license.

Nature of Work:
This is specialized technical work in the determination of real property physical characteristics for ad valorem taxation. Heavy use of a personal computer (PC) is required. The professional works primarily in the office, utilizing desktop aerial review, but also works in the field, to include any new additions/improvements, measurement calculations of square footage. Duties include compiling necessary records, interpreting aerial images, inspecting properties, and determining the quantity and quality of building construction.
