Assistant Property Manager $38,000 – $43,500
We are a growing company in the community association and commercial real estate property management field in the Miami, FL area. We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated Assistant Property Manager who aspires to be part of a winning team. This is a full time, non-exempt position.
Responsible to assist Property Manager with day-to-day operations for portfolio of HOA & COA communities. Duties include but not limited to:
Acquires and maintains current knowledge of state regulatory agency statutes and each client’s community’s documents, policies, and procedures.
Coordinates with janitorial and maintenance staff to address issues and maintain communities to a high standard.
Inspects communities and prepares violation reports.
Assist in preparation of Management Reports, committee reports, meeting notices as applicable and submit for Manager’s review and approval.
Prepares Condo Questionnaires and Estoppel requests for Manager’s Approval.
Prepares any resident information packages that require Board approval, (i.e. Architectural Modification Forms).
Assist with processing of decal/transponders applications for vehicle registration.
Coordinates insurance requirements for properties and associated vendors.
Assists in processing background screenings.
Assists in the development of operating and capital budgets.
Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as directed by Community Association Manager Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
Other duties as required.
Required skills:
LCAM – Licensed Community Association Manager preferred, but not required.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with others as well as to follow up on requests.
Must be efficient, responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.
Must have strong organizational skills, be able to multi-task and be able to work independently.
Must be customer service oriented, proactive, and a team-player.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable of property management software such as Yardi – Tops – AppFolio.
Prior property management experience 2-3 years.
Must be able to drive.
We offer the following compensation:
Salary: $38,000 to $41,500 per year
