Account Receivable Specialist – Property Management

Accounts Receivable Specialist $36,000 – $38,000 per year

We are seeking a full time motivated, positive, and qualified individual to join our great team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk who, preferably, has property management experience. We currently manage a growing portfolio ranging from single family residences, condominiums, townhomes, to commercial properties.

Responsibilities

Process accounts and incoming payments through lockbox/manual checks
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Process monthly, late fees, past due notices & send delinquent accounts to collections attorney as instructed by property manager
Assist homeowners by phone, email and in person with account questions and help resolve payment issues.
Update resident information from required documentation
Special projects as instructed.
Skills

At least 1 year of accounting experience
Ability to multi-task, set and manage priorities.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Customer service orientation
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Must have the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
Must be fluent in English and Spanish
