Customer Service Representative – Property & Casualty Insurance
Location: On-Site – Local Insurance Office (East Oakland Park Blvd)
Our client is a locally rooted insurance agency seeking a licensed and experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a dependable professional with a background in Property & Casualty Insurance, who is ready to contribute immediately and help manage and service our book of business.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent service to current policyholders via phone and in person.
Manage and maintain small business commercial accounts (typically $8K–$15K in premium).
Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates, and renewals.
Support producers with quoting and servicing both commercial and personal lines policies.
Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and company procedures.
Build strong client relationships and ensure timely follow-up on client needs.
Requirements:
Active 2-20 or 4-40 insurance license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain immediately).
Minimum of 1–2 years of insurance agency experience – personal or commercial lines.
Solid understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance with the ability to handle service needs independently.
Strong communication and phone skills are essential.
Must be comfortable working on-site and engaging directly with clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in commercial insurance, especially small business accounts.
Familiarity with property/office policies.
