Miami Dade County Chapter 10 and Lien Law Course
Registered Contractors who hold Certificates of Competency (CCs) in Miami-Dade County are required by ordinance to complete 16 hours of continuing education every biennium. Beginning with the 2014 renewal cycle, the required 16-hour curriculum topics must include one hour of Miami-Dade Ordinance Chapter 10 and one hour of F.S. 713 Construction Lien Law.
This course has been approved by the Miami-Dade CTQB to meet the 2-hour Miami-Dade specific 2014 CE requirement. By Miami Dade Ordinance, contractors licensed by the CTQB can only take 50% of their courses online.
This course has been approved for credit by the following boards:
- Miami-Dade: 2 hours (General)
- CILB: 2 hours (General)
- BCAIB: 1 hour (General, by Reciprocity)
- FBPE: Provider #0003342 (AOP)
Course Completion and Reporting
Upon successfully completing this course you will be able to print the hard copy completion certificate for your records. For state-certified licensees, Gold Coast will electronically report your completed CE hours to the DBPR and the appropriate boards for you.
Course Expiry: This online course expires two years from the date of purchase. However, your completion certificates will remain indefinitely.
