I am currently enrolled in an online insurance product from Gold Coast. How long will I have access to my course?
Students enrolled in online insurance products from Gold Coast will have 1 year from the date of purchase to finish their course.
Will I be able to purchase an extension for my online Gold Coast insurance course after the 12 month timeframe?
No, we will not be allowing extensions on these products after 12 months, but you will be able to purchase a new course through XCEL. We strongly encourage students to complete within the 12 month timeframe so as to eliminate duplicate effort.
What are the most effective study tips to help me finish on time?
Create a reasonable and attainable completion goal. Keep up with your studies until all the elements of the course have been completed. Register for your state examination as to help you remain on target.

What are the passing requirements for my state exam?

How do I schedule my state exam?
Pearson VUE administers the Florida insurance licensing exams. Visit home.pearsonvue.com/fl/insurance to schedule your state exam.
How do I schedule my fingerprints?
Florida Department of Financial Services exclusively uses IndentoGO for insurance fingerprinting. Visit fl.ibtfingerprint.com m to schedule your fingerprints.
I am currently taking a class and need to complete classroom/live-stream hours. What do I do?
All classroom/live-stream hours must be completed no later than March 31, 2023. You will have the balance of your tuition period to complete the online self-study hours and end-of-course exam. Contact a Gold Coast Career Counselor at (800) 732-9140 for a schedule.
Do I need to purchase a new textbook?
We recommend that you always have a copy of the most current version of the Florida State Study Manual. You may purchase them from their respective distributors. However, most students can complete their classroom/live-stream hours with the books they currently have.
