Coverage Coach- Auto Insurance Sales Specialist

The Coverage Coach is responsible for converting auto insurance leads and clients into long-term, retained households. This auto sales specialist will help us grow our auto book by providing competitive auto quotes to our exisiting and prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding & Handoff
Receive warm handoff from producer after a home policy sale.
Introduce self as the client’s Coverage Coach and explain purpose: to make sure the client’s auto coverage is the best fit for their needs.
Schedule follow-up calls within a week to review coverage details, answer questions, and reinforce value.

Auto Sales & Retention
Educate clients on auto coverage options in clear, client-friendly terms.
Identify opportunities for improved protection (e.g., higher liability limits, uninsured/underinsured motorist, roadside assistance, comprehensive/collision).
Follow up systematically with auto clients to close coverage gaps and improve protection.
Support renewal conversations, focusing on keeping clients satisfied and retained.

Metrics & Accountability
Track auto conversion ratio, retention rate, and client satisfaction.
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly goals for new auto policies and renewals.
Maintain accurate client notes in CRM/AMS.

Qualifications

Required: Active Property & Casualty license (can be 440, 20-44, or 220 for this role)
1–2 years of sales or account management experience in insurance or financial services preferred.
Strong communication and client education skills — able to simplify auto coverage concepts.
Comfort with structured follow-up systems and working a pipeline consistently.
Tech-savvy (CRM/AMS, quoting systems, email/text automation).
